I have been privileged to enjoy Scott Pinson’s skilled cooking since early Parkside Bistro days, watching him grow in confidence and stature over the years, both as a skilled chef and restaurateur.
His assured style, deep love and passion of French Bourgeois cuisine creates a wonderful starting point for his superb balanced cooking, coupled with sourcing great quality seasonal ingredients, his consummate skills at smoking meat and fish in house, making great charcuterie, terrines, and baking artisan breads and pizzas.
Scott’s natural ability as the Chef Patron brings enormous pleasure to all those who now find themselves at Scott’s Brasserie in Emerson Park.

Welcome to Scott’s Brasserie
I have been passionate about food since a very early age, growing up in a family with my mum’s good home cooking. Finding myself home alone, I made myself a toasted “Breville” cheese sandwich, my cooking and love of food had begun.
My early working career was spent as a scaffolder. In the evening and weekends, I frequently hosted dinner parties and BBQ’s. My love of “showing off” to my friends excited me – new seasons lamb, South coast turbot, local asparagus and seasonal game were all on the menu, my passion and commitment to cooking and hospitality was in its formative years.
I walked into Mark Keenan’s restaurant in Braintree, he said to me “It’s time you came into my kitchen”, my new profession as a chef had begun.
Several decades later I have now been Head Chef in Restaurants, Gastro Pubs, Hotels, my French Bistro and the BBQ street food scene, Scott’s brasserie is a culmination of my journey and passion, I look forward to welcoming you all.
Scott’s Brasserie is family friendly neighborhood Café, Bistrot and Bar.
We are open all day serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner 6 days a week Tuesday to Sunday.
